Education Access – Qatar Scholarship for Afghans Project (QSAP) 
  • 445 Afghan students placed at 60+ universities in 6 countries. 
  • 65% of graduates now employed.
  • 80%+ of students transitioned into higher education or workforce roles.
  • Holistic support provided including academic advising, career development and housing. 
Press Freedom and Media Training
  • 500+ Afghan journalists supported through partnerships with Etilaatroz newsroom and 8am media. 
  • 65 news reports in multimedia formats published. 
  • 56 videos produced. 
Entrepreneurship and Professional Development
  • 100+ entrepreneurs trained.
  • 9+ countries represented.
  • Bootcamp courses, accelerator classes and equity investments and grants
Resettlement and Emergency Support
  • 500+ Afghan refugees successfully resettled from Albania to the U.S., Canada, Germany, Australia and others.  
  • 65% additional Afghans in Albania received critical humanitarian aid such as child and maternal healthcare, hygiene kits, creative workshops, language classes and psychosocial support.

AFF has built over 60 strategic partnerships, including with:

  • Millions of dollars mobilized from philanthropic, institutional and governmental sources.

  • Internal tracking reflects high cost-effectiveness and alignment with mission outcomes. 
Looking Ahead

As we look to the next chapter, our priorities for 2026 include:

  • Launching the Afghan Vocational Training Initiative (AVTI) — introducing skills-based programs in healthcare, green energy, logistics and other in-demand sectors.

  • Scaling Ventures Beyond Borders (VBB) to support additional refugee founders and connect them with international investors and mentors.
