Afghan Refugees in Albania

AFF successfully evacuated hundreds of at-risk Afghans from Kabul to safety in Albania. Collaborating with key partners from the Albanian government and the NGO community, AFF coordinated and delivered vital services, including medical care, primary education, and other essential support for Afghan refugees in Albania. At the height of operations, these services supported nearly 3,000 refugees and displaced persons. In addition to humanitarian aid, AFF continues to provide immigration assistance to evacuees in Albania, successfully resettling nearly 100 Afghans in the United States and Canada. AFF also empowers evacuees through educational and employment opportunities, with a particular emphasis on technology
